Sick of Windows Media Player Codec Errors? Get VLC Media Player August 1, 2008

I can’t remember the last time I had a video file that actually played correctly in Windows Media Player. That’s the reason I turned to VLC player, which will play pretty much anything you can throw at it right out of the box. If you want to find out more, read on after the jump.

My favorite thing about VLC (besides the fact that its for Windows, Linux, and OSX) is that it just works. I haven’t found a video file yet that VLC can’t play. It may not be the prettiest looking media player, but it does what its made to do better than any media player I’ve ever seen. So if you’re fed up with Windows Media Player not being able to play your files, then give VLC a try.
